Abstract
The main objective of the study is to determine the degree of development of ecommerce in Polish enterprises with particular emphasis on the food industry. The study identifies the most important information technologies underlying the operation of e-commerce. The research is based on an analysis of secondary data on the use of information technologies in enterprises. The study shows that the level of application of key technologies of e-commerce is in Polish enterprises significantly differentiated. There is a noticeable upward trend in the percentage of companies using e-commerce technologies. Food industry enterprises are relatively active in the use of B2B e-sales.
