Abstract
The article presents the results of surveys conducted on a sample of individual customers(166respondents) using insurance products. The main objective of this study was to identify types of products using by customers and why they choose specifies insurer. There have also been determining perception grade of burden for a household of the insurance premium. It was found that the most common buying insurance are: automobile OC,AC insurance, life and house insurance. Customers mainly buy insurance in company`s offices and from insurance agent. Most popular was products of PZU and Warta. The main reason of choosing the company was fact of previous purchased other insurance. Higher educated people, better earning and city dwellers on average bought more insurance products.
