Abstract
Financing undertakings from the scope of the environmental protection in Poland is relatively a new, but quickly developing area of activity on financial markets. It includes financing current expenses to functioning of protective devices and services of the environmental protection and financing the implementations of investment associated with the protection and with the rehabilitation of the environment. In the article a participation of the bank sector was presented in financing the environmental protection in Poland on the example of the Bank of the Environmental Protection.
