Abstract
Trust generated within the doctor-patient relationship can be treated not only as a source of building sustainable relations, modeling behaviors of both partners, but also has therapeutic value. This issue is gaining more and more interests in the literature, but still needs deeper research. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to construct the model of trust in the doctor-patient relationship based on qualitative research (analysis of Internet forum contents). It turned out that rust in doctors is the result of overlapping of two levels of trust in the macro and meso scale. Trust in the macro can be seen as the context in which the dimensions of institutional trust are "nested". However, trust in the meso scale is seen as three dimensions: benevolence, competence and integrity.
