An Assessment of the International Competitiveness of the Agri-food Industry Based on a Market Attractiveness and Position Matrix

Abstract
The paper presents the formation process, characteristics and an assessment of the usefulness for strategic management purposes of a measure concept of the international competitiveness of agri-food industry. The methodology is based on the market share / position matrix. The competitiveness indicator depicted is placed in a context of competitiveness explaining methodologies. The paper is based on the literature search.
