Abstract
According to documents outlining economic strategy of the European Union, innovation is the key issue in achieving intelligent and sustainable growth. Strategic assumptions reflect in the policy measures and funds promoting innovation in the new financial perspective in EU for 2014-2020. The aim of the article was a critical analysis of existing and future measures and schemes supporting innovation within the Common Agricultural Policy framework.
