Abstract
The general background and detailed characteristic of the Development Program of Rural Areas in 2007-2013 period (“PROW-2013”) was done in the paper. Its analysis and assessment of the Program were done in relation to others European Union and national programmes. The implementation problems with putting it in motion and realization was discussed. In conclusion specific weakness and shortening and as well as needs for improvements were pointed out.
