Abstract
In the article law conditions as well as organizational and financial factors of cooperation between public and private sector in terms of investment undertakings resulting in regional development were presented. The cooperation between the above mentioned entities is one of methods used in the process of financial means obtaining. The financial means are indispensable in realization of statutory provisions in terms of local government duties that involve mainly rendering public services. The scope of the activities is often larger than financial potential of local governments and this is the reason why the governments search for financial support of partners form private sector.
