Abstract
Farm advisory services in the Malopolska province play a key role in implementing the instruments of the Common Agricultural Policy. Getting acquainted with the principle of cross – compliance by Malopolska farmers has become a key element of counselling since 2007. Therefore, the three largest advisory institutions: Advisory Centre Malopolska, Malopolska Region Chamber of Agriculture and the Agricultural Advisory Association, in the form of the consortium, have undertaken the trial to train farmers in cross-compliance, complying with which is a condition for the obtaining the direct payments. As can be seen from the analysis and evaluation, advisory bodies have fulfilled their missions in conducting training in all counties of the voivodship.
